Muddy communications with Excal?

Post by Springbrook Al »

Hi!. I've got an Exocet on the way, and I have been trying to watch the instructional video on the Excal homepage for the last few days. Each time, I get a window saying that the server is off line or busy. I've got dsl, and have no problems with other web downloads. I decided to contact them, and I hit "contact us," but I got a "cannot locate this page." So, low-tech that I am, does anyone know an explanation for this or a way to make it work? Also, what is their e-mail address? I'll let them know. Incidentally, it worked a few weeks ago. Thanks!!

I'm having the same problem here and I don't know what the cause of the problem is yet. I talked to our server yesterday and they are looking into it for me. Should get it fixed up today hopefully. Sorry for the problem!

I had the same problem. What I ended up doing was clicking the link and when the error box popped up, I closed it and clicked the link again. Sometimes, had to do this about ten times. I hope this helps... More than likely, the problem is is that the link points directly to the file instead of having a streaming video server dish out the requests. Essentially, there is another person viewing the video that you want to watch.

Just to let you guys/gals know that the video on the excalibur website should be back up and running by the end of today or sometime tomorrow. What had happened is the server that hosted our video went poof  ! So, now all the video will be moved to another server and we should be good to go. Sorry for the inconvenience.
