Best Place to Buy in Calgary?

Post by Herbinator »

Hi all. I am going to purchase an Excalibur crossbow very soon. Probably the Exocet. I have heard the Calgary Archery Center is good. Is it better to buy online?

You may want to check with bj (Wayne Jones) here on the forum.

Many of the members have dealt with him. Second to none.

We got a Wholesale Sports in Saskatoon. Saskatoon, Edmonton, and Calgary I believe have all the same prices. I've checked them out before going to another place to buy my Exomag, and they don't even come close. My personal opinion I'll never go back there again. We all call it Retail Sports, way to high priced. B.J. even beat the cheapest guy here in my home province.

But, hey........ check it out anyway.

I've put an email out to BJ. As for Wholesale Sports, they SUCK!!! Way overpriced for just about everything. The salespeople seem only interested in SALES, not customer service. They are not popular in our circle of friends. I should have said "other then Wholesale sports." I was hoping someone would have a good experiance with some of the other smaller places. We'll see what BJ can do.

Herbinator, you WON'T go wrong with b.j. I just wish I could of found him before I bought my Exomag. I did order bolts, slick tricks and other supplies from him, and to this day I just can't figure out how fast they came.

You can P.M. him here on the forum, or he may not mind a phone call, especially if your buying. You'll have your equipment in days.

I looked all over the place for a xbow and BJ had the best price and unbelievable service. He does not have a web page yet but he told me he is working on it.
