Where in Ottawa region can I hunt Turkey ?

Does anyone have a suggestion as to where a couple of guys could hunt turkey in the Ottawa, Smith Falls, Perth region ?

Being from northern Ontario, and not knowing people living on farms in southern Ontario can anyone share contacts or names of people who would be willing to permit a few hunters to hunt on their farms ?

An address or tel # would be great. The hunting season will be soon upon us and I would like to start making contacts as soon as possible.

Lots of turkeys on parliament hill.

No hunting though!

Raboul,

All the areas you are interested in have a good turkey population.
A good starting point would be to contact the MNR in Kemptville.
Have them send you their latest color map (it covers WMU 63A, 63B, 64A, 64B, 65, 66A, 66B and 67).
The Marlborough Forest and surrounding farmland would be a prime area to start your turkey scouting and getting landowner permission.

Parliament turkeys never come down from their roost so it would not be ethical....
