My condolences go out to his family. I only met him recently in the past year but he was a really nice person to talk to and would offer advice to anyone. He will be greatly missed. Please keep us informed RJ.

I had to read this news several times for it to sink in.

This is a shock, he was a comparatively young man.

These things are never easy to hear.

Mike has been down this way for several 3D shoots, I recall all of us posing for a group photo.

My condolences and sympathy to his family.

Thank you all for your kind words !

I still can't beleve it ! I keep thinking this can't be real ! We talked earlier and our whole crew had planned a run up north to some farms we hunted to run the dogs and look for shed antlers tomorrow ....

In the blink of an eye a tragic accident has taken a good man !

I will get to all the PM's you have sent and send info on his mailing address and funeral arrangements . There will be a trust fund set up for his children as well ( details to follow later )....

Thank you all again for your PM's and kind words . Mike was very proud and thought alot of his Excalibur forum friends !

What a shock! "Please God, may Mike's (Redlabel's), soul rest in peace and will you please provide comfort and understanding to his family and friends."

my condolences and my prayers to the family.

let this be a reminder to us all. we need not make enemies because we never know what tommorow will bring and we should treat each minute of our lives like its the last.

im young (19) and have always thought of myself as being invincible and "that will never happen to me". well ill tell you my attitude changed after 2 months ago my car lost control and slid infront of a transport when we were both going 70km/h at least. missed me and my gf by only 10ft. had to take a few minutes to start driving again.

maybe us memebers could throw some money together to get a big plaque (sp?) with the forum logo and all our names?

I have left my thoughts on the other thread;

http://www.excaliburcrossbow.com/phpBB2 ... e755dee73d

I put out a request that if we have the forum shoot this year would it be possible to dedicate it to Mikey V and his memory?
