First Harvest with the Max

Post by NH Crossbow »

After a long winter I was able to hunt yesterday with the opening of our Turkey season. I had spent the winter shooting indoors at Turkey targets and was excited to get out in the field with the new Exomax. I arrived at my spot and was calling for about an hour with no luck not even a gobble then something caught my eye about 50 yard out in the woods . I took a closer look it was a Jake and he was coming to my calling. I lifted the Crossbow and placed the crosshairs on his neck and squeezed the trigger. The arrow went through the neck at 30 yards. I went back this morning and found the arrow 45 yard from where I shot the bird about a foot and a half off the ground in a dead tree. The Turkey was 13 lbs and had a 3 1/2 beard . It will make for some nice table fare. If someone can tell me how to post a pic I can add it. EXCALIBUR makes an outstanding crossbow
