Look interesting, but how do you get wires to cut????

Those are made by the same company that makes the "Gobbler Guillotine".

PS - For those around the Kitchener area I see The Bow Shop has the "Gobbler Guillotine" on the rack now! Still not too sure about them?

That might just be the slickest thing along since the idea of putting wheels on a bow or using that new fangled stuff, carbon composite, for making arrows.
I've never seen one, much less shot one, but I would expect that the friction resistance would be reduced in passing through an animal. Planing should be at a minimum. Those blades aren't nearly as likely to jamb up against bone, either. They also should be a lot easier to withdraw from a target, I'd be willing to bet. For us who use super-charged cross bows, I'd like to see a version with a wider cutting width. The bigger the cut, the better the chance of hitting a major vessel, or at least, more small ones. This design might allow for a wider cut without sacrificing arrow flight performance.
If the "wire" is good steel, thick enough, it shouldn't flex excessively. They'd likely be virtually impossible to sharpen, but who cares? How many shots do you take at game? Don't we allocate some broadheads for targeting only, and some for hunting only? I do.
I wouldn't be too quick to discount this idea.

Edit
On a closer look, I'd like to know how well the cutting edge locks into the front portion of the head. I guess the designer must have that under control.
Edit2
I went to the manufacturer's website and they describe the "wire" as going through the body, so there ought to be no concern about anchoring the wire in the head.
I did a search and found one other site that is selling the product about $15.00 cheaper than Cabella's.

Neat
They are neat looking?
Question: If an arrow is spinning in a clockwise rotation, would'nt only the right side leading edge of the blade need to be sharp?
Do these things have a sharp edge at all?
I could see how they would fly nice due to the roundness of the wire, a lot less drag e.t.c as Hi5 suggested. I would bet that in a spin, the tensile strength of the wires + the speed of the arrow would drive through meat bone and whatever else they contact no prob!
Question: If the wires were designed (speculation) to deflect while they go through bone which is possible, would'nt that be better in the way that they would not cause the bone to shatter but pass through neatly and re-open on the exit to cause more serious damage?

The fact that replacements are sold in a quantity of 6 leads me to believe that is for 3 heads. So one wire would end being two "blades" . Maybe double back through the point.??

Gentlemen
I suggest a visit to the manufacturer's website. That'll answer most of your questions. They also show a photo of a wild boar that had an arrow using one of these heads make a complete pass through notwithstanding it had to go through the shoulder plate. Looks impressive.

Amazing what great "consumers" archery hunters are They are about as bad as bass fishermen to buy new stuff; when what they have works great. The stats are amazing on this. I guess that's what keeps all those mfrs, & magazines etc. in business. I used to want to try every new thing that came out, but have swung the other way. Now, when I get comfortable & confident with something (outdoor gear), you have to drag it away from me to get me to change.

Excerpt from "Bowhunter" magazineWhen Arrowdynamic Solutions (AS) introduced its Gobbler Guillotine, the company proved it could think outside the box. AS continues that trend with another innovative design, the new Atom big game broadhead. The Atom, available in 100 and 125-grain models, features a one-piece solid titanium ferrule. But the blades are what set this broadhead apart. Made from a nickel-titanium alloy, the Flexible Razor Wire blades pass through the body of the broadhead, curve back along the shaft, and lock into machined grooves. this design allows the blades to flex and compress as they meet bone or cartilage, then spring back after contact, resulting in maximum penetration.

There is still only one head in my quiver Be it my re-curve's or compound's or my MAX ! A 100 gr. or 125 gr. SLICK TRICK,. and it's still the best buy out there, also they fly just like a field point with no having to paper tune . if it works !! why try to fix it, a better mouse trap is always the goal, but sometimes perfection is already there!
