I just wanted to know what you guys think on some things...
Don't you guys think that the Excal website is a bit bland??? Its about exciting as the Canadian Tire website...(shudder). I don't mean to be a jerk but there are a lot of other crossbow websites that are classier and much more appealing (Excalibur Marketing Guy take interest). So...

i'm sure if you find the horton website more appealing you might find their bows much the same...sorry, but you might want to stick around and just "watch for a while"
This site has been the same since Oct 2002 and got along pretty good without you or the Horton site. I do not find this forum bland, just there are a few bland members trying to change what doesn't need to be after one day. Find a site or make one as you want it and leave me alone.

Personally, I don't find it bland at all. Besides why change one of the best and successful crossbow websites.
If you like to be entertained by sizzle, smoke and mirrors, along with colourful pages go to the other websites.
On the other hand if you prefer to learn from experienced forum members about one of the best crossbow ever made, plus obtain copious priceless info, you might what to stick around.
The choice is yours.

Before I asked this question I guess I forgot one thing, Excalibur is crossbow hunters making great crossbows... not not money loving business men making crossbows. Excalibur isn't a company who tries to appeal to their potential cutomers with pizzaz but with quality. So I guess I saw Excaliburs customers completely wrong. You guys aren't about eyecandy and catchy websites... you're about hunting. And since Excalibur has such a strong loyal following, maybe that's why I know now they have the best crossbows. Now that I've been put in place I guess I'll just keep soakin in the tips. Thanks again.
...Oh and this all applies for Canadian Tire too(Sandman )

I see some of the other sites as ...
ALL SHOW AND NO GO...
Here you have ALL GO AND NO SHOW..
Which do you prefer???

I don't know spank, why do you think it's bland. I have been to all the websites of other crossbow manufactures and find this one the most informative. The website is simple and easy to navigate and most peoples questions can be be answered in the FAQs section. The website gives honest bow speeds using minimum arrow weights, they also have an arrow preformance chart and also list 4 different weight arrows you can choose from to use in their line up of bows. If they need more help they can register to the forum which is the best forum you will ever see due to the the wealth of knowledge of the members. And if that is not enough, there are times when Mr. Bill Troubridge; the president and co-founder of excalibur will log on to the forum and answer questions himself.
I don't think you will find easier help and customer service on the other websites. No, I think we should keep the website just as is, easy and informative and let the other guys have all the glittery and jazzy websites.
