carbon bolts

I notice the carbon bolt Excalibur crossbow sells, and I want to use, are longer than the stroke of the Exocet 200 I want. What do you do, use them as is, cut them?

I use them as received from bj for my Exomax and Exocet~!

They are the same length as aluminium bolts that are 22xx and weigh about the same as 2213s. They are the proper length.
