I have no idea how this would score. It's a good sized 5 on one side, but the other side looks like it was twisted over early in the growth cycle and continued to develop downwards, over his ear.
paradox, with 100 slicks on carbon bolts. 20 yard shot, 15 yard recovery. Dressed weight just over 200 lbs.

The shot you are not supposed to take!

First excalibur deer. Taken Nov. 13, 2006, 4 pm. 20 yard shot, 30 yard
recovery. Phoenix bow, varizone scope, 20" Gold tip lazer II bolt tipped
with a 125 grain sonic head.

This button buck came in quartering forward to my right. I waited but
it never turned broadside. Decided to shoot from my deer stand. Hit it
just at the edge of the right shoulder and caught both lungs. Awesome
blood trail on recent snow.

excalibur accuracy, varizone scope, and being left handed no doubt
helped me make this risky shot and kill. Would I do it again? Perhaps.
I had just let a one antlered deer walk (no buck tag left) and my hunting
time was rapidly running down.

Will post a picture if I can recover it from a friend's camera and learn
to post pictures

edited because of jealous hunters that are trying to get me in trouble. Just so you know every thing on the hunts that took these deer was done legal but for the tags being applied 10 min. after they should have.
