I was just wanting to now what kind of quiver mount you are using and how it compares to the excal mount. Thanks Ron

Well once again opportunity knocked and I think there might be a little bit of truth to the saying when it rains it pours lol. I don't have to tell everyone here about how busy things get this time of year. Wed came along and the wind was right but I had other things that needed to be done, but I just had this feeling . I figured things just seemed to be lined up, the wind was right and the big snow fall the night before made me think it would be a high activity afternoon. So I talked myself into it, got in the stand around 2:30pm and 4:30pm came and was thinking I was all wrong. I was getting cold and jittery and was thinking about leaving, I had been watching another direction pretty closely as most of the deer I had seen in this area came from. I slowly turned my head the other way for a quick check and this buck was 40yrds away and closing fast, he was heading for an opening 30yrds away and when he got there he was broad side. I already had the bow to my shoulder as I knew as soon as I seen him he was a shooter in my book. As luck would have it a grouse landed underneath my stand the same time the buck came into the opening and the sound of the grouse landing made buck stop and look in its direction. I settled the 30yrd on him squeezed off the shot, I heard the dull smack and he took off flat out as fast as he could go and ran out of sight. I did not hear him crash or fall so I went back home to call for some extra eyes and flashlights and a bite to eat. I had found the arrow and it was completely covered and felt I had made a good shot, by the time my buddy and brother in law got to my place a couple hours had passed since I made the shot. We got to the point of impact and found a bit of blood and hair and had no problem following the trail. We did not have to go far and he was down about 20 yrds from where I last seen him. I used my Exocet 165, 2117 eastons, white wraps with orange 2" blazers, tipped with 100grn wasp boss bullets, Lumizone and Boo string. 11pt buck, 30yrd shot 65yrd recovery. I seem to be faced with not knowing which pic is best again lol.
