Indiana crossbow bird....

Post by Woody Williams »

My son's Indiana crossbow bird....

21#. 1 1/4" spurs. Double beard 10" and 7".

15 yard shot..

I had one at 40 yards, but he was more interested in the three hens in the field than my rubber hens.

With the 870 he would have been meat in the pan....with the Exomag I didn't want to shoot that far...

Tell your Son Congrats! Excellent Crossbow Turkey. :)
Are you trying for Crossbow only Turkey yourself? Or can you get one with Bow and one with Gun?

Good for your boy, getting that nice bird.

Good (or maybe better than just good!) for you, passing on one that was outside your distance limit.

That's the kind of honest acknowledgement of limitations that all hunting sports need.

TEACHING BY EXAMPLE.

Nice going.
