Hi Guys/Gals: I managed to call Mr. Tom away from his lady friend on Monday morning. She almost busted me on the way in, so I had to drop to a prone position at the end of a fence row, with my shotgun resting on my pack sack. She continued to feed away from me, but Mr. Tom decided to check me out, big mistake! He weighed 18.8 lbs. and sported an 8" beard, 3/4 " spurs. Winchester 2 3/4" magnum turkey load #6's, distance 17 yards.

Way to go. Gotta always watch out for the other turkeys looking at you and waiting to sound the alarm.
I hunt for memories, the meat's a bonus!

Gotta agree, mine's almost gone, just very little left in fridge

Nice looking turkey Doug. With only a 2 turkey limit, ya gotta savour the meat as long as possible.
