shooting 330 FPS
Who here has an excalibur exocett 200 that shoots 330 fps? What kind of bolt-inserts-head and vanes are you using
I have been trying some different things not including inserts and the best i can get is 323 fps.

First make sure your croney is correct, shoot thru a couple of different ones if you can.supermagnum wrote:Who here has an excalibur exocett 200 that shoots 330 fps? My 200LB Exocet using a FFF string at 1 1/8" brace height shooting Lazer II's with Alum. inserts front and back, 100gr heads, with 4" feathers at 4deg offset and weigh in at 349.2gr and 351.5gr between the 6 bolts give me a avg.,FPS of 332.8FPS. I have two Crono-Pros and they both read the same. Watch the Lazer II's as I do have some that are 5 -7 grains lighter with the same set up, no problem as I shoot them from the Vixen.
PS: to gain another 1 or 2 fps wipe the rail and bolt/arrow down with ArmorAll
