Flemish Fast Flight

Post by buckbuster »

Would it be worth it to go ahead and buy a FFF string? Right now i have the excel string that came with the bow. I was wanting as much speed as possible. I know speed isnt very important, but i am switching to a 2219 bolt for hogs.
thanks,

Yes, if you don't mind twisting it up for a while to keep your Brace Height. Not really a problem and after a while it slows down a lot on the stretch ..... :D

Shouldn't be much velocity difference between the flemish and endless loop (excel) string. I like the endless loop, but flemish twist should be a little stronger. Not to get into string construction, but the endless loop has only 1/2 the strands in the loop (but the serving adds strength & cushioning). I like the endless loop because it stretches very little, but if you don't mind adjusting brace height a lot at first the flemish twist is fine.
