Yea, its me folks that outdoor writer guy from Louisiana, thats trying to get crossbows legal in the state for all hunters. Well things are looking pretty good, we have the bill in for review and its nothing but politics from here on. In Louisiana that's a large bite to chew.

Anyway along with helping to establish the best shooting range in the state at Ft Polk La, TNUSA got sactioning from the American Crossbow Federation to have crossbow events at this elaborate 3-D range any time someone gets ready.

Maybe its time I got myself a crossbow. After watching Ted Nugent use his Excalibur, thats good enough for me. Looks like they are the best or he wouldnt use one. All I got to do now is get it legal......Not far away
Pass it on.

For all you crossbow cats out there. You have some extra friends in Louisiana that would like to hear from you at Bayou Outdoors Adventure Forum...the front line activist for the crossbow in La.

And if that isn't enough you can always check out the Nuge at
www.tednugent.com Taking his crossbow away would be like making love to a flaming porcupine.

gosthunter there is no real legit reaso to not allow crossbows. The only reson is that most vertical archery hunters feel threatened by crossbows and have been told totally misleading untruths to convince then that the crossbow is evil. They also want the archery season just for themselves and the less people hunting in what they figure is their seson and only theirs.

Good luck Uncle John.
