Hey, good for you man. You're gonna love it.

You don't necessarily need the stringing aid. I've never owned one. Just a little elbow grease. It's a little awkward to explain, you would be better off watching a video. It should be on the video you got with your bow, or they should have a video on their website.

Have fun & shoot safe.

you dont need new string to cock ....

1 put loop on one end of limb.
2 place on pillow or something non slip
3 grab stock and apply pressure to side that is already strung....
keep going to you can take loose end and put over other end of limb... this will require a little strength but once done once it is real easy

ps whatch dvd

I couldnt handstring mine for crap.. I only weigh 165pounds and the bow would start lifting me off the ground when I got the string about 1inch from the end. I just cant keep the footpeg planted to let the bow lean over.

The stringing aid makes it very simple! I wasnt gonna try to kill my skinny self stringing it by hand lol

but get the stringer, it will make it very simple for ya

Get yourself the stringing aid - it makes it 1000% easier. BTW - I thought you weren't supposed to put pressure on the stock while stringing?

The stringing aid makes it MUCH easier. I weigh 200 lbs and I could only get the string 1/2" from the end. I waited to get the stringer before stringing, a couple of days. It was well worth it. I thought about asking one of my sons to string my Exocet for me, but they would have rubbed it in about me getting old. :D

I also ordered a couple extra strings with the stringing aid.

dang, i guess its not just a 165pound thing then either;) Maybe after 2-3months of trying I coulda finally finigured it out and gotten stronger lol..

i thought bout taking mine to a shop and getting them to do it, but then eveytime I need to adjust the FFF string, it would cost me 10bucks in gas to get there and back, which would be about 120bucks by now :D

stringing aid is so easy to use, you can store the bow with pressure of the limbs any time you want. it makes life so much easier to set exact brace height sometimes this takes 2-3 times. all you have to do is pull a back muscle and it will make it real enjoyable to climb and sit in a treestand.in ont all you have to do is give up on 1 case of beer and you can buy a stringer and a coulpe of arrows.
