Scent Free Soap????

Has anybody come up with an inexpensive alternative to the commercial scent free laundry soap or for that matter, bath soap, too?

plain water

i dont pay any attention to the soaps and underarm things they make for scent blocking. Just use your normal stuff and stay downwind or get a good scent blocker suit

Take a dust bath like a turkey does

. You can make your own soap, my wife has and it's not that hard.

Gee guys...thanks for sharing your personal hygiene habits with me.

I'm 6'2 300 lbs and when I just think about moving I sweat, so I try to do my darndest to eliminate scent (including scentlok clothes) In early season here in PA it's too warm (usually) for the scentlok and quite often I'm hunting in a tee shirt and cotton pants. What do you use to wash your clothes? baking soda? a scent free laundry detergent that's cheaper than the stuff sold in the sporting goods store? I can't always hunt downwind and because this is my first year with the Xbow and for other reasons I'll be hunting from the ground and not in a stand.

The Dollar store near me has chunks of "bar" soap that's unscented. Try your local Dollar store.

Uncented Bar Soap
Baking Soda for the Clothes
Small AA Powerd Fan for Cooling off once i get up in the stand.

Yep, that's what us poor folks use. I shower and use baking soda in my groin area, under my armpits and in my hair. No wait, I got it backwards,

my hair, then the armpits and FINALLY the groin

Anyhow, also use baking soda in the washer for my hunting clothes. I sweat alot , so I take an extra camo tee shirt with me in a large ziplock bag, once I get settled in and stop sweating, I change shirts and put the sweaty shirt in the bag and seal it.

I use 20 Mule Team Borax for hunting clothes, unscented (no added scent) goat milk soap for my body.

i read a article on a man who takes pictures of wild animals for magazines, he was ask how he could get so close to the animals he pats himself down with baking soda, i have used that for years i use a small white sock pour soda in then tie the end shut , just pat your self down, then put it in a zip lock bag but dont zip it all the way it will draw moisture.,,,it works

I do the same thing with the tee shirt. BAking soda appears to be the winner for laundry and personal hygiene...and unscented soap. Let me see if I have it correct groin, armpits hair and then my beard and mustache. Right?

I had a problem with folliculitis, so my dermatologist had me switch to using anti-bacterial soap. This stuff is so effective at killing bacteria that I no longer have to use deodorant.

Is it prescription? Over the counter? What's the name?
