today the serving part of my string started to come apart after probably 150 shots or so. So I need to replace it allready which string would you folks recomend? I want whatever is going to be the most durable for my exocet 200. thanks for your help M&M
Is the string itself damaged. Why don't you just reserve it ?
Your local archery shop should carry serving material. You don't need a serving tool if you have a way of keeping the string tight. When you take the old serving off just note how its been applied . It's really pretty straight forward to do .
It did start to wear into the string itself a little so I don't want to take any chances at a dryfire so I will just replace it and probably get an extra string at the same time so I have one on hand, but I need to know which one is the most durable M&M
Reserve it, its really easy and cheap to do. You can use braided kite cord made by BYC (I think Excal uses it) or .026 braided fast flight serving from Brownell. Braided kite cord is a bit thicker and apparently more durable.
it could probably be reserved but as I said it started to wear into the string itself a little so I just don't trust it I would rather spend 20 bucks on a new string then take a chance on it breaking on me when I am in my tree stand M&M
