Was all set to go hunting this wkend, when my uncle who owns the place where him and I hunt, phd last night and said that the cabin had been broke into and all are hunting gear we had there was stolen. It has been about 4/5 yrs. since we have had any trouble with trespassers, so I guess we had just let our guard down to much. I had gotten into the habit of leaving my xbow & hunting clothes up there. At my age and being in a wheelchair it just made it so much easier than draging everytrhing back and forth.
I hope his insurance comes through, because I have to replace allmost everything you need to go hunting with.
I saw a Phoenix in Cabela's for $ 449.99 I haven't check any other places. With the expierence I had buying the Barnett Revolution off the internet last time I'm not sure I want to go that route again.
They did'nt get crank cocking device, I wonder if the Phoenix could be modified to except it. Needless to say I am trying keep $$ down.
Anyone know the dememsions (sp) on the Phoenix lb/L/width when cocked.
Any good web links I can get info?
Thanks, Mike41:

a trail camera in the trees near your cabin may help next time. point it at the road next to the cabin down out of the trees. helps to ID a vehicle and then the detectives can go from there to find the low life that takes your stuff. i know it don't help now but maybe next time.
what you do for and too others will come back 10 fold.
