I am the proud owner of a new Exocet 200 and was wondering, I am shooting the carbon bolts and am interested in using the lumenock's in them this season.

Anyone ever use them on the carbons? How did they work?

Used both the lumenock's and the tracers brand.

Tracers are much more rugged. From my exomaX, I just broke some lumenocks on the shot. Its not rugged enough to be shooted from one excalibur. Tracers are really rugged.

I was just thinking.... wouldn't the tracer/lumenocks add weight to the rear of the bolt, messing up the FOC. ?

Yes, they do. But what I have observed is that, even when using bolts with diferent weighs (like the beman thunderbolts, heavier than the goldtips) the bolts that have the tracer or lumenocks atached tend to hit high on the target (of course, you add weight to the rear of the bolt, the foc gets low, bolt travel with the tip lifted).

On my personal experience, beman thunderbolts (426 grains) with added tracer/lumenocks hits the same place on the target that the goldtips (360 grains). Without the tracer, the beman hits low.

I had a FOC problem once and it tossed my bolts all over the place.
