Finally after weeks of hard hunting rain wind and extremely bad luck i finally connected with this little basket 8pt.. No trophy but very nice for the freezer..

After weeks of hard hunting, I would dissagree that he's not a trophy :wink: . Nice buck. I get just as excited about every one I shoot.
I hunt for memories, the meat's a bonus!

It's not always the size of the rack but often what one had to do to get him. So your deer is definately a trophy. Congrats.

Kept all the better steaks and made italian and brakfast sausage out of the rest..

This is the sausage me and my 2 hunting partners made..
2 does 1 buck. tottal of 78lbs of sausage.
