Another question??? Sorry...

Post by Ohiohunter »

Broad head positions. I have the GT LII's with the aluminum inserts and I'm using the 3 blade, Wasp broad heads. Should the blades be in-line with the fletching? If they are, whats the best way to do this? I have them tightened all the way down and they are not in line.

Again, thanks for the help.

I line mine up, my xbow's are very accurate so as far as I know it works. I use the little hard rubber O rings.

Ohiohunter I have found that it is not necessary to alline the blades of the head with the fletches like with alot of the vertical bows. All I do is tighten the heads onto the arrow shaft then shoot them.

Do not worry about asking questions. The only DUMB QUESTION is one that is not asked. IF we do not know, we either learn the hard way, or we ask and someone will help us. Remember, we all were a biginner at one time just like you are.

Good luck and enjoy.

I don't worry about how the blades are aligned, as long as the head is aligned with the shaft (spins without wobble) everything should be fine.

Just as Wabi stated, that is the critical if there is any wobble the broadhead and shaft will not fly consistently

there ya go right there....if you spin test and get no wobble from the head...youre good to go

dont worry about aligning blades with fletching.... IMO
