I have a pair of camo neoprene gloves that fit snug and grip incredibly well not matter what the weather (snow, ice, rain) and they are quiet. I highly recommend them. Found mine at Shooter Choice in Waterloo. I've tried a few other grippy gloves but have found they "squeak" on the stock when it's dry. I like these gloves so much that when the temps drop I use a muff so that I don't have to switch them for insulated gloves. I'm a grip-freak - can't stand not having a good feel for a rifle or bow.

I use a pair of small baseball batting gloves----and a muff by Mad Dog.I have small hands and these seem to work the best for me---the black gloves hide my hands which show up white for quite a distance without the gloves I have been told.

I never did find the foregrip very 'grippy'

but yesterday I had the new exocet out in the rain for the first time and it got rather slippery

I am gunna have to find a way to add some grip to it. There are many days around here when its too warm for gloves....even thin ones.

OK, this is just totally off the cuff, first thought I had while reading your last post (so don't laugh): How about adding one or two of those peel & stick strips that you put on the edges of steps (only about 1" wide and fairly long)? Or the same kind of thing for bathtubs? They come in clear, I think.

They don't stick to my fingers for very long.

Just kidding of course. That sounds like something that may do the job.

I think VixChic has the right idea, that would work for sure, but my question is why is your stock so slippery? Does anyone else have this problem? My Exomag is not at all!!!? :?

I have a STEADYHOLD vertical forend grip attached to my Exocet and find it very helpful in the rain and humidity of Florida. I used it this season to kill a 6 point buck; it works good, check out : www.steadyholdproducts.com
