8 Pointer or 11 if you count the stickers. My son and I went out Muzzleloading. We started out in the area that I would hang my self climber but it's kind of thick their for ground hunting. We then worked our way up to the head of the ridge then dropped down to a little grassy underground pipeline area that's about 20 yards wide and runs down the middle of the hollow between two ridges all the way to the bottom of the mountain. The ridge on the left is a browsing and social area for the deer. The one on the right is mostly a bedding area. We caught this guy tring to sneak in to bed a little late. Most of the time they are already there when the sun starts rising. He spent to much time out searching for does that night. Bet his momma told him not to stay out so late you think? He came out pretty fast about 75 yards out not giving us much time to study him or decide to shoot or not just enough time to aim and fire. I like to watch them a little when hunting with my son so I can teach him some of the things I learned the hard way. The biggest lesson with this deer was not to shoot one at the bottom of the ridge opposite the truck. The two hour drag up the ridge was the most fun. My oldest son was hunting with me but I'll bet you can tell who the next hunters going to be.
Here's a picture I took during bowseason of the bedding area from my stand you can see the tree tops thru the leaves.

Nice deer! (My toddler just looked at the pictures with me and said "deer sleeping" LOL)
Wow - you've still got a lot of leaves and colour! And did I see shorts? We're having an exceptionally mild winter here but not nearly as warm as you have it!
