I will base my opinion on the new stock when I see it and have it in my hands,I had no problem with the old one,I have a vixen deluxe and I think the camo patern is unique.I have been very sucessful with it and have great confidense in itso I doubt if I would change unless it would improve my shooting.changing golfclubs every year certainly never improved my game.I might however be interested in the new scope.I just hope turn the bow into something they said they would never do ,build a bow that looks like it came from star-wars.now maybe it can be called a GUNBOW.

Looking at the photos the changes are obvious, especially the placement of the trigger. On the thumbhole models, the trigger is noticeable more forward. It appears to be inline with the claws, whereas in the previous models, the trigger is positioned behind the claws. Hopefully this change will make the trigger release even better.

Does this mean you have to get a new Apex to replace your Point Blanc.

I hope they will make a bracket so we serious target archers can put a sureloc or CJ on that rig. The point blanc had a sight that would allow you to replace it with a check it. Then danny miller had some brackets made that would screw into the riser (rather than the stock extension) which would accommodate the check it bar. This sight will not. Ideally the best thing would be a simple L Bracket that would slide onto the front sight dovetail that would allow you to bolt a sureloc (the best possible target sight for a crossbow IMHO) mount on it. The PB's had the cast risers with the two screw holes-my last phoenix had that so I could set the bow up for WCA sport division.

I already emailed Bill on this.
I would have loved to have had some input-a couple things could make that bow super competitive -a boy I am coaching is now averaging 580+ on the indoor FITA with a Jim C modified PB

I would love a bolt hole in the stock to take a palm rest

Does the illuminated reticle of the new Varizone over lay the original reticle or is this strictly an on/off situation?
