I SHOOT A 165 LB -1998 EXOCET AND HAVE A FEW QUESTIONS.
WOULD THERE BE ANY DIFFERENCE IN USING 2216 SHAFTS RATHER THAN THE RECOMMEND 2117'S (WHEN PURCHASED)BOTH 20 INCHES AND SHAFT WEIGHT IS THE SAME (XX75'S)I KNOW THE 2216 IS VERY SLIGHTLY STIFFER.
ALSO WHAT LENGTH VANE DOES EXCALIBUR SUPPLY WITH THEIR STOCK ARROWS AND WHAT DEGREE OF OFFSET?
THANKS FOR YOUR TIME IN ANSERWING MY QUESTIONS.

2216 vs 2117

On a top release claw like the excalibur there is no real difference. If you are shooting 3D or spots you get 1/64 of an inch more of line cutting ability and 22/64 is the current legal max for the WCSA standard. for hunting there is nothing I could think of
If you shoot a H orton, (bottom claw) the 2216 is slightly less likely to suffer a "skip" where the string jumps over the bolt-which is why horton now uses moon nocks (this happens if the bolt is not completey seated against the string)
