It's not what you think. April's stuck with me.

Oh, the new love is sleek, all right. She's sexy. She's fun to be with. I can't stay away from her. I've wanted her for a long time.

She's ... well, she's a Ruger Single Six.

I know, I know ... it's a crossbow forum ... but hey, I like guns too!

I've wanted one of these since I was a boy.

Congratulations Grizz, that is a sweet little thang you got there. Great for plinkin. My father in law has one that's alot older , stainless with white grips and we've had alot of fun with it. You won't find any 22lr ammo anywhere near the alligator river next week.

hi grizz ive had the stainless six for about 8 years its a great plinker shoot all day for about a buck fifty the magnums are nice too .i picked up a stainless 45 long colt blackhawk a couple of years ago.its nice when you want to raise the noise level a bit

I've got other handguns, and other revolvers. Biggest is a Smith & Wesson 629 Classic in .44 Mag ... a "Dirty Harry" revolver. Smallest is an Airweight concealed hammer carry gun in .38 Special +P.

This .22 sixgun, though, is such a blast to shoot ... I think in the two weeks I've had it I've put more rounds through it than the others combined!

I'm just a boy at heart, you know ... used to play Cowboys and Indians all the time when I was a kid ... had a Johnny West ... it was just that era.

Love shootin' cowboy guns.

Had one of those a few years ago. Mine was a very early model, made in 1967 if I remember correctly. Very solid gun, lots of fun to shoot! Enjoy!

A great gun, but be careful to always wear ear protection, especially with the .22 mag cylinder. I did some damage to my hearing years ago when I shot a box of .22 mags without ear protection. The "ringing" in my ears was so bad I went to the doctor and had them checked. They told me most of the ringing problem was temporary - but cautioned me to ALWAYS wear hearing protection when shooting.
Back then most shooters didn't bother with ear plugs or muffs, today I hear "crickets chirping" almost constantly - and there aren't any crickets chirping!!!!!!!!

Cool, indeed. My own is in 45 Colt. Hangs on my hip whenever I'm scouting, esp where the bear hunters frequent.
