Preparing for upcoming season

As I watch these fellows feed in the field behind the house, pulse quickens, blood pressure rises and I picture getting a shot on one of these boys this fall.

Hope that this picture posts okay. The deer are at 400 yards. I've been waiting to get a better chance for a photo to share, but when they are closer, I don't have the camera or it is to dark for photos. Guess I need a trail camera, yeh?

The buck with his head up is a 140 class buck. The darker one with his head down is larger, body & rack, maybe 160 class.

goodluck on those 2.. they wont be far off during bow season. I hate your Ohio buck bucks

Looks like they are enjoying the soybeans. Run one of them over toward Oak Hill, I will be there Nov. 11th.and I hope that isn't too late for the ruttting time. Got a 130 class last year on Nov. 4th. Good Luck to you and Happy Hunting.
