Dan Miller quiver and mount
Dan Miller quiver and mount
Anyone have a picture of this quiver and mount cause I can't find it at all.
The bow pictured has, I believe, stabilizers (the bars you mention) and a level. The level is helpful in keeping the bow limbs perfectly horizontal which is essential for the best shooting. Although I don't use a level for most hunting situations (I forget it's there anyway
) it does help eliminate those fliers to the right or left.

Mine loosened up also. As BJS said, a little blue loctite on the allen screw stops it.bjs wrote:FYI - I have had the dovetail mounts loosen up on the my D. Miller setup several times. That caused the quiver to become unstable.
I think the smallest amount of locktight is needed in that area to keep things snug.

I believe Excalibur changed the size of the dovetail slightly when they switched to the new riser. I had trouble with my front sight getting loose on my Phoenix, and they (Excalibur) replaced the old sight with a new one sized for the new dovetail. If you're shooting a newer bow with the new machined dovetails it could be the slight difference in dovetail size causing the problem. Loctite will probably solve the problem, but the aluminum dovetail just isn't as strong as the old style sight base.bjs wrote:FYI - I have had the dovetail mounts loosen up on the my D.
