Cold Hands
I used to hunt out in the wide open spaces in Alberta, but I don't remember ever being as cold as I've been in Ontario. Probably the humidity here, or maybe I'm just getting old and wimpy!
LOL

Cold Hands
VixChix ---- In reality use, I feel that the suit would not lend itself to being applicable for bow hunting -- in other words the website to me is a sales promotion and does not represent reality in an actual hunting scenario. I have not experienced the luxury of time to emerge from the suit nor being able to move that amount to shoot a deer. I wonder how high the stand was from the ground --50 feet? However, it would be warm.
Hey bow hunters, do you echo my thoughts as well?

Yeah- I'd leave it open enough to hold my bow. I'd also only use it on the ground. I guess a good sleeping bag would be cheaper in that case, eh?

thats the way to go bobby....there is no way your hands can get cold using a muff with hand warmers. it gives you full use of your fingers during the shot as well. I even use my thermacel inside mine.bobbyvee wrote:I use light gloves and a muff similar to the one here at this link. I can hunt in 20 F degree weather all day without a problem. If the link does not work go to Bass Pro and word search "hand warmers."
Good luck!
