2007 Record Alberta Buck

One things I do not understand about these photos... I shot a 157" in Saskatchewan 5 years ago and there was no way I could hold that deer's head and rack up for photos in the way that guy is; with one knuckle or finger. Especially when sitting with his arm full extended.

What I heard that the buck was frozen as the temp was 20c to 30c below that day.

He shot it at 15 yards in the neck with a 30.06.

Boy, that guy is made of some tough stuff to be out in those kinds of temps with no gloves on. That works out to -5 to -20 fahrenhieght for our American friends.

if you notice, his face and hands look like they are frostbit

but the deer had to be frozen since the ears and everything are the exact same in all the pics.. 20below will do that LOL

I don't know what's more exciting, having a buck like that as your first deer our have a job guiding deer hunts for an outfitter having never ever shot a deer yourself.
