One things I do not understand about these photos... I shot a 157" in Saskatchewan 5 years ago and there was no way I could hold that deer's head and rack up for photos in the way that guy is; with one knuckle or finger. Especially when sitting with his arm full extended.

What I heard that the buck was frozen as the temp was 20c to 30c below that day.

He shot it at 15 yards in the neck with a 30.06.

Boy, that guy is made of some tough stuff to be out in those kinds of temps with no gloves on. That works out to -5 to -20 fahrenhieght for our American friends. :D

if you notice, his face and hands look like they are frostbit :lol:

but the deer had to be frozen since the ears and everything are the exact same in all the pics.. 20below will do that LOL

I don't know what's more exciting, having a buck like that as your first deer our have a job guiding deer hunts for an outfitter having never ever shot a deer yourself. :?
