Anyone have any suggestions for a taxiderist in the Ottawa area? Ones that they have had work done by. I think I might get this buck done. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Thanks for all the comments also.

To all that read my suggestion, I sincerely apologize for not noticing the sled. No offence was intended in any way .
Thanks Particle for pointing it out.

Wow, that guy does a wonderful job with the fur. His prices are very low to what I see down here!

No problem at all.... yes there was definitely a toboggan under that deer... it was one helluva tough pull!!! And with all the little trees I wanted his antlers facing back so they didn't get caught. Thanks though for the tip!
Thanks partikle for the link thats great!

I was going to say the same thing about pulling backwards. Then when Partikle said about the sleigh, I went back and look and I think he is right. I guess it really doesn't matter, He's out. Great looking buck. One time my friend and I were hunting. After we were going home with the buck I shot in the back. He said we should have done this, done that. Been here been there. I let him go one for a little more. I looked at him and said, tell it to the DEAD deer we did it wrong.

Very nice deer paired up with nice pics and a great story. You were lucky he had not yet shed. We have not seen any bucks around here with there racks in tact since I took my buck on the 20th.

Congrats fletch! Great way to end the season.

BTW, I hear ya about the yotes in Greely. Had one run through my back yard a few times, and they've killed a neighbour's dog.

Great buck. I agree with bbbwb, I always drag from the head. The legs lay back easier than forward. Even then, once they stiffen up the legs can hang up on stuff, so I even tie them back sometimes.

It's tough to get out of bed at the end of the season, but seeing deer moving around in the snow is a sight I personally don't like to miss.

Congrats again!!!
I hunt for memories, the meat's a bonus!
