got my exomax!!!

Post by wim »

last week ik have picked up my exomax at the customs office, after 3 hours of waiting i finally went home with 3 boxes of crossbow gear, including my exomax.
have been shooting today for the first time, what can i say......
i love it,i'm also very happy with my rinehart 18-1 targetblock (only lost one insert with targetpoint, still in the block).
do you guy's glue the inserts yourself? because i used the arrowpuller from excalibur and pull the insert out, then i used the saunders arrowpuller and then the insert with point where still in the targetblock.
i still have to install my v-bar system, but with the boo string catwiskers it is already very quit, i think.
so do you guy's have any tips for me about sighting in the scope?
another very happy excalibur owner is borne today.

Welcome to the Family.... You'll have a lot of questions and this Forum is the best place to find your answers.....

I would also suggest the following website for a wealth of information on equipment, testing and tuning your crossbow. He has done a tremendous amount of work on all facets of crossbow shooting....

You're already set up well for some great shooting, so you are well on your way.... I think you'll be happy with your choice for years to come...

Again Welcome aboard!.....

I glue in all my own inserts and nocks, I use the archery super glue, works well and I have not lost an insert since. A bit of a trick to get them out when you want them out, but it can be done. The arrow remover from Excal has great uses, but pulling arrows isn't one of them.
Here is a link to help with that scope:

Congrats on the new bow wim, you be careful over there in Holland with that thing, don't shoot any dikes! Matter of fact, ship them over here. :D
