my sister and her husband moved to prince george british columbia this past summer. she called last night wondering if i knew how to get the moose to stop hanging out in there driveway. haha. i have not been out there yet but it seems like it might be worthwhile. it looks to be fairly young still, i cant really say i know a whole lot about theese guys yet.

It has no MOMMA, take care of it, and leave it be, he'll move off when its safer.
Two weeks ago I had a young bull moose bed down 12 feet from our 5th Wheel camper, that same week a pack of wolves was in the local area. This moose was not my pet, I believe he was looking for some safety, and not harassed by wolves.

The famous swedish king Gustavus Adolphus tired to use moose for Cavalry. The idea is great. Much taller than horses and they kick with the front legs... The problem was that moose don't like each other. So the project failed when you couldnt get them to charge in tight formations.DanO wrote:I've seen pictures from Russia where moose were used much horses.
