Updated my Pic and story
Well here is my pic, it has been cleaned up and I must say it looks pretty good. This is my late season December 20/07 10pt. buck. I had posted it back a couple days after I took this buck but did not tell much of a story and the pic was not great so here it is. Real cool afternoon with a slight north wind, I did not think I was going to see anything but with only 10 min of legal shooting light he was standing broad side at 35 yrds. He came out by himself as the big guys often travel alone. I settled my 30yrd pin in the drop zone about mid lung right behind the shoulder and squeezed, I heard the dull smack. The buck ran aprox. 100yrds give or take 10 before pilling up at the base of a tree, his last jump was as long as his first. It was a double lung hit and a blind man could follow the blood trail, though he did not leave any blood for the first 10-15yrds but after that WOW . I was using a mid 90's exocet wich I have had since new, drop zone scope, 2117 easton shafts, 4" durravanes with rt 4 degree offset and wasp boss bullet 100grn broadheads. This is the largest rack buck I have taken with bow and he field dressed 175lbs but there was not a speck of fat on him. I first got this buck on my 35mm StealthCam the day after gun season and hunted him as smart and hard as I could till the moment of truth came that cold afternoon. Passed up a few nice ones and I was beggining to think I was crazy for doing so but it paid off. At least I know there is a couple still out there that will be as big or bigger than this one for my 08 season and I can hardly wait. My only regret was not having my camo on for pic. I would like to thank my buddy Joe for cleaning up the pic for me.

Hey Ian,
I bet you're glad now that you passed on those smaller bucks, he's a brute. Are you getting him mounted? Can you share the trail cam pictures of him? Let us know what he scores, I bet it's well over 140.
Congrats again, he's a hell of a nice buck!!

Thanx Nick, I am having him mounted and the taxidermist is going to score him for me, though I am not sure when I will get the tally as he is very busy with Carra Outdoor Sports and putting people on the walleye on the Bay of Quinte. He has got some real nice racks bigger than mine to score ahead of mine also. As for the trail cam pics both of them were on my 35mm StealthCam and I don't have a scanner to get them on the puter but if anyone has any Idea's on how else I could get them on the puter I am open to any ideas.

Some big camera stores who offer processing will put the picture on a disc for a small amount of money.Fishn-Hunter wrote: As for the trail cam pics both of them were on my 35mm StealthCam and I don't have a scanner to get them on the puter but if anyone has any Idea's on how else I could get them on the puter I am open to any ideas.

I wouldn't worry about the clothes ... I've killed quite a few deer while wearing regular clothes. Besides, it's not a fashion contest!
Like Boo said ... nobody's noticing unless you tell them!

Nice buck and good ending to a focused hunt. Congrats! It's really sweet when things come together.

Say hi to Sam for me. A great guy. Hopefully he is having a little more success in Belleville.

I also never notice what you were wearing. Come to think of it, I was only staring at that monster and never notice you in the picture.
My photo was the same, I took my predator camo jacket off once I reached my stand because I was warm from the walk in. 2 hours later I still did not have it on when the buck came out and I took him with just my white fleece on. Worked out fine with all the snow around. I never put my jacket back on for the photo's as you can see in my avatar on the left.
