Yay, new permission!

Post by TYE »

Last night I got permission to hunt a new property! :D

I snagged a few pictures from the barn with my cell phone so the picture quality SUCKS, but oh well. Looks pretty good to me. Saw 3 deer down the road, looks like a promising place for the deer hunt. Kinger is gonna come with me Friday to scout for turkeys and hopefully get a couple this weekend. :)

The pictures only show some of the property. Mainly the open fields. There's also swamp and hardwoods.

He just bought the land. so I'm going to assume he will be planting corn in one of the fields like he had at his old farm.

I think it should be my new jackpot! :D I hope.

Well the landowner is a friend of ours. My dad's known him for years. We used to hunt his old property till he sold it to move into the city. He's gone nuts in the city and bought this new land, so we went out there last night to take a look at it. I have permission to hunt anything I want, firearm or archery seasons.

We always help him out. On his old property we walked one of the 600 acre properties he had behind the farm, and fixed the whole fence line around it. Talk about a long day of work.

Looks like you have a real deer magnet there Tye. That place is beautifull. Good luck on those turkeys.

Bstout, you are a good man. If more hunters were to respect landowners like you do, we would have a lot more private land oppertunities available.
