One of my favorites was taken with my old Relayer ... I eventually retired the bow , and forum member ( DesertRat ) hand painted it with the buck on the bow ..

Fantastic bucks Bob and RJ. MY favorite bow kill is a bear not a buck. Not a big bear by most standards, but it was taken natural (no bait) during a 3-day PA season. The buck is a muzzleoader deer.
I gut shot this buck due to poor judgement . . .he was moving and I thought at 12 yards, I didn't need to lead him. He dropped within 20 yards. I was sooooo relieved.
A toast to the one that should have been lost . . .but was found.
R.J., great bow . . .friends make the hunt special. In this case, a friend made your bow, more special. My most memorible moments include a hunting buddy.
Another toast to good friends! Go ahead, raise your glass.

I'd rather wear out than rust out.
Perception trumps intention.
this is the first buck i ever shot and first deer with a crossbow they were shot 5 minutes apart, about a mile between the 2 stands 4 days before the bow season closed. one at 8:55 am and the other at 9:00. mine is the 6 pointer on the right in the third picture. he was shot at 5 yards and ran only 15 yards from where he was shot.he fell right in plain view. it was exciting to see. even though he was only 6 points he is still my favourite so far and the most exciting experiance.

And this is my best hog taken with a vertical(282 lb. field dressed).

I didn't know you shot an Oneida.

Nice animals guys, I wish I had a digital copy of my favourite bow kill. Something a little smaller. When I was 15 at camp on a sunday I learned the joy of small game hunting with a bow, took a snowshoe hare and a ruffed grouse with my old crissbow. That thing was just as accurate as my excalibur but you had to know your range, some days I thought I could run faster than the arrow.
