Yeah ... I've never been too keen on getting killed myself, Brooke.

Guess that's why I gave up the coffin nails eighteen years ago! 8)

Glad I did. :D

I quit cancer sticks 33 years ago when the price went up to $5 a carton. For cigarettes!! No way I was going to pay that.

Last I looked, they were running 5 bucks a PACK. Today I'm saving at least $3650 a year just by not lighting up. :) Hmmm. Wonder why I still don't have any money?? Oh yeah. I got a wife now.

But that quote!

Quit smoking cold turkey in1980 when 4 collegues died of lung cancer the year before, since then my breathing has improved 100% and I have only had 1/2 dozen colds instead of 3 or 4 a year.

I hadn't given up or stopped smoking. I find it impossible to stop. Before anyone says nothing is impossible, let me say it's impossible to stop something you've haven't started.

As far as I'm concerned, anyone who burns money and aids and abeits in their own demise, lacks the proper thought processes that are needed to survive. However, I suppose by their demise, they are doing society a favour in that they are aiding in improving the gene pool.

I quit smoking November 22, 1997. That was the day I fell 28 ft. out of the tree I was hunting in and screwed myself up. I went into the hospital a smoker and I came out a non-smoker.

I found that morphine is probably the best thing you can ever use to quit smoking. You just don't have that craving for a cig while morphine is pumping into your veins.

I do not recommend anyone trying to quit smoking to use the tactics I used. It’s way to expensive.
