excal question
hi new guy here;
i do alot of reading from the forum its very informative
in the spring i traded my 06 weathernmaster for a phoenix ifigure two months of deer vs one week of moose hunting makes alot more time to play
i was wondering why not too many people use the peeps that come with the bow in practicing at 30yds i can hit a 4 in circle consistantly the bow is fantastic i figured that would be p.d.g. for baggin deer considering the boiler is about the size of a volley ball ? this is a great place to tap into some excellent info thanks

Nothing at all wrong with the peep system , but i use a scope for more precision, like they say pick a spot , well with a scope you can put the arrow right inside that little spot, and acually watch it go in there , that is the cool part.

I never believed it would occur but after 50 yrs old most hunters need a scope(single plane focus) versus 3 plane focus- peep, pin and target. It really sucks getting old.Mike P wrote:There is nothing wrong with using the peep. That being said, the majority of us here probably need a scope to see the front peep sight.
