Hey, I got my first senior license last year! Now they are talking about doing away with the senior license because of lack of dollars. Wouldn't that figure?!

Hopefully though, they will see the light and finally allow crossbows. It is difficult to figure them out. They keep coming up with more and more ways to kill more deer, but......don't hunt with a crossbow! Why not? I believe it is 98% the fault of the Michigan Bow Hunters. Too much lobby pressure there.

I do have to admit that at one time I also was against crossbows. However, after watching all the "improvements" in archery bows and arrows, there really isn't a whole lot of difference. If anything, the modern compound bow has an advantage over a crossbow! That is, providing one can use it to begin with. I went from recurve to compound very reluctantly due to an injury. It got be back into archery and hunting at the time. Now it is the crossbow that is getting me back into it. So what's the big problem with some over this sort of thing? Nuff said there.

Hope you have a good season Bob. Where are you in Wisconsin? Near the U.P.? We used to live by Gladstone and at that time hunted pretty close to Wisconsin. Our really old stomping grounds were near Shingleton though but we haven't hunted there now for several years. Just stay home and hunt here now.
Keep smiling!
Dennis
