Do any of you use the 100gr Spitfire broadhead? I shoot a Exocet 200 with 22in Gold Tip II with brass inserts. I have been shooting 100gr Muzzy
and need some more broadheads. I have a surplus of the Spitfires that I use with my compound. I have heard that the expandables will flash open with a crossbow. I am looking for a performance report. Thanks in advance for your information.

I shoot the 100 gr spitfires with my exocet on easton 2216 aluminum arrows and this is my third season using that broadhead it shoots extreemly accurate and gives great performance on deer I have killed four deer with them so far and my son one with his horton I have no complaints or disapointments with this broadhead M&M

I used a 125 grain Spitfire to slaughter a groundhog at 40 yards last Wednesday with my Vixen! I put one rubberband on them. They are accurate and hit exactly as my field points without adjusting them at all. It tore a big hole . . .recovery was 6 yards and I'm impressed he made it that far.

I'd rather wear out than rust out.

I use to shoot them untill rage came out.. Mine spitfires always grouped 4inches to the right. It was a great group, just not the same as the fiedltips so I had to sight the bow for them which wasnt a big deal.
But when rage came out... hehehe, now those hit the exact spot as the fieldtips.
The only thing I dont like about spitfires is how they open... they loose power since the blades have to flip back. Rage blades just slide back so its no loss in power. But the spits will do the job just fine though
I carry one in my quiver just in case I need to use it for a final up close kill shot
