Dunno. Consider them beauty marks. I'm not sure how the finishes are applied to either the limbs or the stocks. I do know the limb part can flake in spots after a while. Dry fires seem to increase the odds of blemishes on the limbs, lol. You still punching "X"'s? Me too.
