Take a look at these two bucks recently posted under the threads "My Buddys Buck" and
"MONSTER ONTARIO WHITETAIL!!"
Look how high, narrow and swept back the racks are and look at the mass.
Is this "swept back" type of rack seen often in Ontario?
Ontario Style Racks?

While those racks in the pics are truly exceptional in their swept-back configuration, yes MikeP you are on to something. In the area where we gun hunt in northern Ontario, we used to have as neighbours a group of hunters from Indiana. The Indiana guys used to say the same thing about our Ontario bucks. They called them "rocking chair racks".

THE ONE MY FATHER SHOT IN THE LOWER PIC (ONTARIO WHITETAIL MONSTER) IS THE FIRST ONE THAT WE HAVE SEEN ON THE PROPERTY THAT IS SO HIGH AND NARROW, WE HAVE BEEN ON THE PROPERTY THERE FOR 10+ YEARS AND SHOT AND SEEN A WIDE RANGE OF RACKS FROM LOW AND WIDE TO WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PIC, SO ALL I THINK IT IS IS GENETICS AND FOOD, EVERY DEER IS DIFFERENT JUST LIKE HUMANS WE ALL DONT HAVE THE SAME FEATURES WE ALL VARY IN SIZE AND SHAPE AS DO ANIMALS....(JUST MY 2 CENTS ON THAT)

I've got pics from my trail cam of bucks with similar racks (not as big) and also of buck with more traditional or "typical" type racks. I wouldn't say it's an Ontario thing.

here is a southern ontario 150 class eight pointer with similar characteristics. It was taken in last years shotgun hunt.
