You are right, this morning was an amazing day for deer movement!!!
Seen 8 this morning, with the crosshairs on two of them.... But never did turn broadside... Really wide 8 pointer trotted past me at 25 yards... no way for me to stop him....20 minutes later doe and two fawns take the trail behind me....never gave me a shot....30 minutes later had 2 does and 2 fawns walk down the trail and stop at 30 yards...i was praying for a broadside turn of one of them...but nope..casually turned and ran...

I got up and left at that moment because i had to make hockey @ 1....
What a morning... Nothing this evening but 2 playing suicide in the road!!!!!

I have been busted more then Robert Downey Jr. by mature bucks.

It is what they do.

Sometimes they don't even have to see you, smell you or hear you.

They just know something is not right.

You are in the company of many Max.

Mike I can add this one to another one of my hunting learning experiences and Mr 10pt is another day wiser.

Yeah, boy ... who hasn't been busted?

It ain't just mature bucks doin' the busting, either ... how many of us have had our cover blown by some big ol' hussy of a roman-nosed, mule-eared doe?

Walked into a new spot the other day had seen some tracks in and out of there. Was looking at a big old pine I would like to put a stand in. Turned to walk to the next pine when I caught some movement. A big ten got up looked a round and ran about 20 yards. Try to doe bleat him back but he just walked away.

I haven't been bust by a doe yet this year but they have nailed me lots in the past. The bigger they are the harder they fall!!
