Kelly starts full on Rehab today.
She is doing so much better.
She wants to be moved to an Army hospital and stay in the Army.I hope it works out.
Karen said she notices times when Kelly is lethargic and doesn't seem to know whats going on and then she comes out of it.
There may be some brain damage, time will tell.
Sorry so long in updating, this is my busy time of the year.

I resemble that remark.maple wrote:Scott,
Not to make light of Kelly's situation, but sometimes I get lethargic, and sometimes I don't know what's going on. She's doing great.

Do not grant her that wish under any circumstances!saxman wrote: She wants to be moved to an Army hospital
Fine and dandy if she wants to remain in the Army. But let her regain her health first. And she will do that better at a hospital not run by the army.
And before any one climbs my ass over that statement let me remind you that I am former Army.

I'd have to agree with Mike on that one.Mike P wrote: Do not grant her that wish under any circumstances! Fine and dandy if she wants to remain in the Army. But let her regain her health first. And she will do that better at a hospital not run by the army.
I'm not ex-military, but over eighteen years I've spent countless hours in hospitals of all sorts with patients in every kind of distress and recovery, and I have known their situations intimately. This experience includes familiarity with the care offered by several naval and army hospitals ... and I have to say that from what I've seen (and I've seen a lot), I'd rather be treated at a private hospital.
Not trying to bash military institutions, or paint them all with a broad brush, but I've seen enough that I feel Mike's right.
As for others, your mileage may vary. I mean no offense ... but Sax, I think I'd keep her out of a military hospital too!
