I'd have to agree with Mike on that one.
I'm not ex-military, but over eighteen years I've spent countless hours in hospitals of all sorts with patients in every kind of distress and recovery, and I have known their situations intimately. This experience includes familiarity with the care offered by several naval and army hospitals ... and I have to say that from what I've seen (and I've seen a lot), I'd rather be treated at a private hospital.
Not trying to bash military institutions, or paint them all with a broad brush, but I've seen enough that I feel Mike's right.
As for others, your mileage may vary. I mean no offense ... but Sax, I think I'd keep her out of a military hospital too!
And I sure "DITTO"the above!!
Been in a couple for care over the years and sure take a private hospital over a military any day. (Army Bloody 1st)
I agree with all of the above posts that Kelly should stay in civilian hospital. It has been my experance with Military and Vetran's Hospitals is that they are the worst of the worst. Scott, You, Kelley, and all of your family are constantly in my thoughts.
Kelley
Kelly continues to improve with her rehab.
She has two sessions a day and is working hard to heal.
I hope to see her on line as she sent her mother to get a lap top yesterday with wireless Internet. She has been paid the whole time and wanted a computer.
She may be relocated to a Military hospital closer to us.
Thak you all for your prayers.
We are very moved at the outpouring of well wishes and kindness from everyone

I have been working with Mayo to accept her for care and they have.
She will be HOME with us and I will take her to her appointments.
God is good.
Absolutely the greatest news!! Will continue to pray for her full recovery. A blessed Christmas this year, for sure.
