Thanks wabi. I baked one for yesterday night. Also, took some in my lunch today and finished it off tonight. Quick and easy, a real hit. :D

I guess you mix the beatened eggs into the cottage cheese before you pour it on top ?

Yes - beat the eggs, then stir in the cottage cheese - then cover the top & bake.

Looks like Christmas came early this year. On my way home from work, I stopped in at the local market to pick up some cottage cheese, the only ingredient I didn't have on hand to give wabi's dish a try. With cottage cheese in hand, I stop to check my mailbox before finally arriving home. Lo and behold - my GroundPounder mount finally arrived (thanks Todd)!

So now - a mere 2 hours later - I'm sitting at my Mac, catching up on the new posts here on the excal forums, with my freshly GroundPounded Phoenix hanging on the wall next to me, and wabi's venison pie baking in the oven with about 20 minutes to go.

Christmas definitely came early this year :)

Tried the pie last week, it was great, the wife was impressed.
Changed the ketchup for Heinz chilli sauce.
