scratch or crack
New member from Ohio, I recently received an exocet 200 from a relative
It has what my cousin says is a scratch on the limb by the riser. It shoots
great it has the flemish fast flight string it is almost as accurate as my compound bow which I can no longer shoot. I ran a cotton ball over the limbs in the relaxed and loaded positions it doesn't catch the cotton ball
and it shoots great. Are there any other ways to check for a cracked limb.
Thank You in advance for any replies
Stephen

Welcome friend.
Just keep an eye on it as you shoot, check it every now and then to see if it grows.

I went throught the same thing cause of the talk of split limbs. If no fibreglass showing and the splits are along the limbs it is manufacturers defects and no problem. Just the paint has went into the defects in the fibreglass. Problem may exist if split goes across the limb from top to bottom. just out of curiosity is it the left hand limb when you shoot the bow, about three of them?
Hope this helps

Wheelie, my left looks fine, it is on the right limb. My cousin said he took it
to a local dealer and they said it was a defect in the camo. That sounds
right considering how good the bow shoots. I shot it 60 times inbetween
10 and 50 yards with a trigger stick rest on the front and it was stacking
the arrows.

WELCOME Stephen. "Almost" as accurate your compound....you must be an Olympic class archer.
