Me alittle younger with the same two deer . And the Doemaster moniker began .
Heres a picture of my grandfather in 1935 with a Winchester model 62A.
My garandfather gave me that gun about 10 years before he passed away. Its one of my most prized possessions. Now here is a picture of my daughter carrying on the tradition with the same gun.
I think this was my 4th deer. The young man on the left is my 15 year old neighbor that I got hooked on bow hunting. We both killed the same evening - his first though.

Great pics here guys! I especially like the "Then and Now" pics from groundpounder. Sadly I don't have any old hunting related family pictures though my grandfather was an avid hunter. He died before I was born and I have no idea what ever happened to his guns. My mother often tells of how he hunted to help feed the family during the Depression.
I do have my dad's old .22 that he got for his 16th birthday in 1933. It's a typical old Cooey single shot but it was marketed as "Eatonia" which was the brand name used by the Eaton's department stores. I look forward to teaching my son to shoot with this gun in a couple of years.
