I received a cheek piece and x-tender from Dan Miller on Friday. I put them on a vortex with a Hologram sight (the 4 dot) model from Truglo)
I was really impressed with the set up. I put the 1 inch x-tender on the stock. I have a 37 inch reach. The x-tender moved my finger back on the trigger so I am using my finger tip instead of the second joint of my trigger finger. The cheek piece really lined my right eye up with the sight.
I was shooting at an indoor range on Sunday at 20 and 30 yds. from the offhand postition. I had no problem keeping my bolts in the 10 ring.
I am going to use this set up for Spring Goobler season. Dan Miller is great guy to do business with. Over the years I have purchased 4 Excaliburs from him.

Right up until I seen that photo I thought it went on the top of the stock.. Is that rubberized on the end or is it hard plastic?
Looks cool either way!

Bob, I see you got the "plain brown" one. Too bad you didn't spring for the deluxe model to match your setup.
I suppose the reason is that the extender only comes in "plain brown"
In your case, it's a plus, since you'd probably painted black.
